INTERGENERATIONAL PROGRAM

Our partnership with colleges and local high schools (both public and private) provides service learning opportunities for students. Through our intergenerational program, students learn valuable job skills. The students are mentored by our staff and by the seniors they visit and help with errands. Students learn valuable life lessons from the seniors, and seniors leave a positive impact on a young person's life.

Internships are available to college and graduate students, providing them an opportunity to work directly with the elderly under the supervision of our trained professional staff. For more information on internships, please contact us.

OUR SOURCES OF FUNDING

Our programs and services are funded by a combination of individual donations, community and corporate support, grants form corporations and government funding.

This purposeful blend of support enables us to respond to needs of seniors with greater flexibility than those programs that rely on a single funder, but it also makes de the job of raising enough money to improve and expand our programs a greater challenge.
